ACADEMICS  Fayette Academy requires 23.5 credits to graduate.  Fayette Academy
offers regular, honors, dual enrollment, and Advanced Placement courses. Honors courses are offered in English, science, math, and foreign language. Dual enrollment courses are offering in history and math. Advanced Placement courses are offered in English, Biology, Calculus, Government, US History, and World History.

ACCREDITATION  Fayette Academy is approved by the Tennessee Department of Education and accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS)/AdvancED.

ACT  All students must take the ACT as a graduation requirement. Fayette Academy was ranked #11 in Memphis Area Schools for ACT Composite Scores by the Memphis Business Journal. Fayette Academy students have an average ACT score of 23.

ATHLETICS  Fayette Academy is a member of the TSSAA Division II. The Academy lists seven middle school teams and eleven varsity teams offering competition for both girls and boys.

BAND  Fayette Academy’s band has received many honors and each year places in the top bands in the State of Tennessee.

CAMPUS   Fayette Academy is located on a 42 acre campus.

COUNSELING SERVICES  Fayette Academy has an lower/middle school counselor and upper school/college counselor.

ELEMENTARY ENRICHMENT Fayette Academy offers elementary students weekly enrichment in music, wellness, library, art, and Spanish as well as science, math and computer labs.

ENROLLMENT  Fayette Academy has 559  students.

FOUNDED  Fayette Academy was founded in 1965 and is governed by an 13 member
Board.  Eleven members of the board are parents of Fayette Academy students and are elected for a three year team. Two of the members are appointed by the Board and represent the community at large.
