Fayette Academy is a college preparatory school based on Christian beliefs and is dedicated to providing a quality education for students in pre-K through grade twelve.  We are committed to the development of each student with emphasis on academic, personal, moral, social and physical development in a safe environment.

ACADEMICS  Fayette Academy requires 24 credits to graduate.  Fayette Academy
offers  Advanced Placement  and honor courses in English, math, science,  and history.

ACCREDITATION  Fayette Academy is accredited by AdvancED (Southern Association of Colleges and Schools)  and approved by the Tennessee Department of Education.

ACT  All students must take the ACT as a graduation requirement.

ATHLETICS  Fayette Academy is a member of the TSSAA Division II and competes in
10 sports offering competitive competition for both girls and boys.

BAND  Fayette Academy’s band has received many honors and each year places in the top bands in the State of Tennessee.

CAMPUS   Fayette Academy is located on a 42 acre campus.

COUNSELING SERVICES  Fayette Academy has an elementary counselor and a high school counselor.

ELEMENTARY ENRICHMENT Fayette Academy offers elementary students weekly enrichment in music, wellness, library, art, and Spanish as well as science, math and computer labs.

ENROLLMENT  Fayette Academy has 613  students.

FACULTY  All faculty members are licensed by the State of Tennessee Department of
Education.   Approximately 50% of our faculty have their masters degree or higher.  20% of faculty and staff are FA alumni.

FOUNDED  Fayette Academy was founded in 1965 and is governed by an 13 member
Board.  Eleven members of the board are parents of Fayette Academy students and are elected for a three year team. Two of the members are appointed by the Board and represent the community at large.
